I predict that the Bowhead's first use will not be to transport expensive ships, but to assist in destroying them.
How many fit and rigged Taloses could you fit in one? Or Catalysts?
There is a major hisec choke point between Amarr and Jita without a station, and that system is Niarja. This lack of a station makes large-scale gank ops there more complicated, albeit definitely still possible. Any enterprising suicide ganking group can simply park one loaded up with gank ships at a safe spot and use it as a mobile base of operations. No POS to protect or fuel, the pilot can be in an NPC corp to avoid wardecs, and, unlike a POS, a Bowhead can bounce around between various safes to avoid being tracked down.
How long until the first Bowhead-backed fleet ganks a freighter in Niarja?
(To be absolutely clear, I am not complaining about this at all. I can't wait to hear the first stories.)
